Troubled interns get their last shot at Sydney's underfunded Pines Hospital, battling personal demons and past failures while treating patients in life-or-death situations.
A new cohort of interns joins the Pines Hospital. This is their first day and their last chance. The interns are thrown in the deep end when a wild storm hits, flooding the hospital with casualties and cutting off the power. The young doctors must work together with program leader Gloria and maverick registrar Curtis to restore the hospital and its patients back to good health.
